Phase 1

Identify the Top Issues
(FINAL WEEK!)

Join thousands of Nevadans who have already weighed in on the top issues for state legislators to address in the 2027 legislative session.
Between March 11 and April 30, 2026, we asked Nevadans, "What should state leaders and residents work together to fix in our state?" Nevadans stepped up, submitting X+ issues and 21,900+ reactions on our digital platform. Using data analytics, we identified 20 issues with the strongest cross-demographic consensus.

Between May 1 and May 22, 2026, we are holding a voting round on our digital platform, asking participants to allocate 6 votes each across the Top 20 Issues. This voting round helps to determine the issues that move forward into our project's next phase, "Community Conversations."

See our Insights page to learn more about our the Top 20 Issues, how they were selected, and who participated between March 11 and April 30, 2026 (plus a short pre-launch window). See the Phase 1 Report (pending) to learn which issues rose to the top in the voting round, and how they will move forward into Community Conversations.
Phase 2

Join Community Conversations
(OPEN NOW)

We need your voice! You are invited to join in-person and online Community Conversations, to explore possible solutions to the top identified issues.
Starting Friday, May 29, The Nevada Forum is hosting in-person and online conversations for people across the state, to come together as neighbors, learn and share about the top issues identified in Phase 1, and explore possible solutions that could attract broad cross-partisan support among legislators and constituents.

Signing up for one or more Community Conversations is easy and free. You don't need to have joined Phase 1 to join a Phase 2 Community Conversation. Please join us in Las Vegas or Reno, or sign up for local in-person meet-ups and statewide online conversations to weigh in on the issues you care about most. You can sign up for multiple conversations!
Phase 3

Join or Follow the Civic Assembly
(August 28-30, 2026)

Register to enter the lottery-based delegate selection pool for our August 2026 civic assembly, during which ~50 chosen delegates will evaluate and finalize supermajority-backed proposals for state legislators.
On August 28-30, 2026, at The Palms Resort in Las Vegas, the Nevada Forum will host an in-person, lottery-selected civic assembly. At this groundbreaking event, ~50 Nevadans who represent the diversity of the state will convene for three days to weigh and sharpen cross-partisan proposals on 1-2 top issue areas emerging from our Community Conversations phase.

Want to participate in Nevada's first-ever statewide civic assembly? Selection is lottery-based, so we can't guarantee you a seat. However, just by filling in this short interest form, you will automatically be added to the lottery selection pool. Good luck!
Phase 4

Raise Your Civic Voice
(2026-27)

Join our mailing list, become an NV Forum Champion, and help us bring citizen-inspired, cross-partisan legislation over the finish line in early 2027.
Our August 2026 civic assembly delegates will prepare broadly-supported, draft legislative proposals on behalf of their fellow Nevadans. However, generating the proposals is only one part of a longer journey. In late 2026 and early 2027, we'll mobilize grassroots citizen support and advocacy for the legislative proposals that "we the people" prioritized through our yearlong deliberative process. Our ultimate goal? To introduce at least one citizen-backed bipartisan bill into the 2027 state legislative session.

Please join our mailing list today so we can keep you posted on our progress towards identifying, advancing, and introducing legislation in early 2027!

People Over Parties

Built with Nevada values

The Nevada Forum acts on a simple belief: when people show up in good faith, common ground isn’t rare... it’s normal. Our values reflect how Nevadans actually live and solve problems: with responsibility, respect, and a focus on what works.

Independence with Integrity

Freedom matters in Nevada. So does responsibility. Self-governance requires participation, not detachment.

Growth with Intention

Nevada is expanding. Growth should strengthen communities — not strain housing, water, energy, or essential services.

Respect for Every Region

Northern and Southern Nevada. Rural counties. Tribal nations. Longtime residents and new arrivals. Every voice deserves a seat.

Practical Over Political

Real issues demand real solutions. Housing. Water. Energy. Education. Healthcare access. What works should win.

Shared Ground

We don t need total agreement to move forward. Durable progress begins where consensus already exists.

Stewardship of Place

Nevada's future should be shaped by Nevadans, not special interests, intrusive algorithms, or partisan agendas.

Being Welcoming is Being Authentic

Nevada thrives because people come here. The future must honor both opportunity and identity.
